Thank you for your interest in promoting the work of Bible translation. We have developed a resource for churches who would like to help their congregations to understand what it is like not to have the Bible in your language. It is based around the central idea of members of your church experiencing what it might be like not to have a Bible in English.
We’ve called the event ‘NoBibleSunday’ and it can be run at a church service or for smaller groups.
To challenge what we take for granted – a Bible in our own language – we hope that we can encourage a renewed gratitude and passion for the word of God in our lives.
To highlight the critical need for 1 in 5 people across the world to have the word of God in their own language, so that they might know for themselves the wonderful message of the gospel.
